A very late art trade that I owe :icononagareddemonofohu: of her Onaga character's beast form (I think I got that right :?) that's been sitting as a WIP on my computer for too long :dead:

Attempted experimenting with many different painting techniques on this, finally settled on painting the highlights, core shadows and reflected light with a gray scale palette and then overlaying the color layers on top of that.
I like the end result a lot :)

I know the anatomy isn't perfect, and it's sloppier than I would've liked, but this was a nice 'speedpaint-type-thing' to practice digital painting on.

I hope I got your character right, :icononagareddemonofohu:, and I hope you like this. I'm so, so sorry it's so incredibly late D:

edit Whoa, DA did something fuggly to the contrast/saturation! :noes: It looks slightly better on my laptop ;A;
