Here's the final for the first half of my animation design course, the half centered around hands-on and traditional animation. This here's done with tracing paper, a pencil, and an animation peg bar. It consists of 113 different drawings strung together over 218 frames played at 15 fps [frames per second], approximately 16 seconds. Completed over a four day period.
Fun fact: while working on it one night [late
at night] I mistook the drawing labeled '67' to be '62'; while drawing number 66 a second time it dawned on me "say, haven't I already drawn
66? I know I have, then what the--??" Shortly thereafter I concluded I was too damn tired to work any further and crashed for the night. Just thought it was funny.
Anyway, do tell me what you guys think, I put a lot of effort into this piece, even if it does jerk its shoulder strangely when it gets up to walk the first time.
thank you to
and Denise for helping me scan it
