Horagai ♂ My starter. Named after those cool conch horns Samurai used to use.

Lutra ♀ (named by my sis!) Current surfer. Trying to get her with Horagai. He's holding out so far.

Gaultier ♂ Flaming gay Leavanny. The love of his life is Norton the Skitty. Named after the fashion designer.

Norton ♂ Not actually a team member yet, but he's in training.

Leicester ♀ Pronounced "lester". Named after these awesome sheep! LOOK AT THEM!!!

Eidolon ♂ Dreamworld Zubat traded from my White, so his ability is Infiltrator. Named by my sis, 'cuz she's the bat expert.

Briard ♂ (name change pending) Derpy and lagging behind. If he doesn't start kicking butt soon, he's off the team. I am failing to see the appeal of these dogs.

Weta ♀ What? I was watching the extended edition LOTR appendices.

Phyto ♂ Um, I though I had stumbled across a cool made-up word. Had no idea it was a word related to botanical hair products... Bred on my White and traded over as an egg.

Mudi ♀ Named after this dog breed. I name all of my Lucarios after dog breeds, it's a habit.

~~Girasolito~~ Giure ♂ Named with the indirect help of *The-Vol's awesome comic. Because "little sunflower" wasn't terrifying enough for this vampiric flower. See here [link]

Manis ♀ As in "pangolins". Name provided by my sis.

Q'inti ♀ Means "hummingbird" in Quechua. The Sigilyph on my White didn't turn out to be so good, but Q'inti is giving me another chance to train one of these awesome things, and so far has been a great addition to the team.

Mugger ♂ Named after these, but he did know thief for a little while.

Isidor ♂ Named after Black-and-chestnut eagles, which are also called Isidor's eagles. Also with help from sis.

growlithe start off fairly strong at first, but once you evolve others starts to lag a little..but then you get the moveset you want, you use firestone..and it starts leaving the others in the dust. A worthy investment! My arcanine kept my team going through the entire game and postgame. Don't lose heart on the little pup yet!

And yeah, in W2, Growlithe/Arcanine isn't as great as other fire-types (I probably keep mine in party only because I love them).
