isn't that referenced to the old Spirit movie website? I remember there was a little game where you could paint your horse and let it gallop in loop. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems very similar...

Not at all referenced from the old Spirit game. Referenced from one of Eadweard Muybridge's galloping horse sequences. It probably seems similar because of the character's colors.

I see! It just seemed so familiar I was just wondering for a sec. Yeah, the colors may have irritated me at first

Any Tips on Drawing Consistency for Animation?  What's the Tips and if Shortcuts for an animator for drawing consistency to frame to frame?  Everytime I draw animation, the Size is always inconsistent.  Can you look at?   5480093.deviantart.com/art/4-2…

Are you animating straight ahead or pose-to-pose? If it's straight ahead, that's probably why.

Tips: Key poses that are on-model and have the right consistency, then work pose-to-pose paying close attention to mass.
Drawing practice. Practice drawing the character you're going to animate a lot before you animate it. Use construction shapes in your underdrawings. Make model sheets. Don't try to animate at 48 fps. That's just too many drawings you could make a mistake on. Try 24fps, but try it on twos.

I recommend you get this book and read it, it will explain this stuff better than I can.

I like how the gait slows done with each "evolution". Przewalski over here is just doing a fine chilled gallop. And looking damn good, i might add. :D

That was actually one of my main worries about this: that as it changed, the animal slowed down as it evolved to run??? That doesn't make sense, but it's too late to redo it now @.@

I'm really glad it works well :faint:

Nay, it actually makes sense. With each evolution every stride becomes more efficient, which means he spends less energy to cover the same distance, while keeping the same speed. Evoultion at its finest: doing the same thing better and at a lesser cost.
