I re-opened requests temporarily on [link] and of course the avatar slots were almost all gone in an hour or so. One person requested Akatora, up close like some of the other ones I'd done previously. So this is what came out

I like how it came out overall, except for those goddamn stripes! I hate how they're all over the place as it moves!

Next time I'll try drawing in the stripes before I color the whole thing, maybe I can use the unionskin to help me keep them less mobile =.=

On the other hand; I'm getting better and better at drawing the ginga style with less effort and less references.
However it's distressing how whenever I try to draw something not ginga related, there's still a lot of the style present... the sooner I finish my doujinshi and can pull my brain out of ginga-drawing mode, the sooner I can return to my normal style...
